Ezra's Third Birthday.

We celebrated Ezra's third birthday last weekend. We had so much fun! It seems impossible that he is 3 and yet it seems like forever since he was born.

We started the weekend with a trip to a local lavender farm.

Then we headed home for some cake and presents.

I created a pin-the-head on the Lego man game and a scavenger hunt for his presents.

The next morning we headed to the zoo.

The cape Ezra is wearing was made by Gma for David when he was two! 

When David wore it he was Zorro. Ezra says he is Darth Vader when he wears it!

Ezra got to feed a giraffe.

I love this expression on his face! 

It was a fun weekend with David's little family.

It's hard to believe how big he is considering her started out like this.

Dear Ezra,

Happy Birthday, little man! You're growing up so fast! 

You love "Yegos" and and Duplo.

You love PEZ candy and chocolate milk.

You love Toy Story and Star Wars.

And stickers and bubbles.

I wonder what you'll be like when you're all grown up. Will you be tall? Will you grow a beard like your daddy? Will you have a little boy just like you?

China Through a Camera Lens

Josh and Alexandra went to China in June.

For ten days.

And hiked the Great Wall.

Life in Gainesville, Texas.

I went to Gainesville last weekend to visit David and his little family in their new home. The drive there is long, almost four hours, but not as long as the drive to San Angelo.

It was worth every mile because I got to see these little cuties.

We did a little family photo shoot outside their home.

I asked David and Ezra to sit on the rock for a photo.

Ezra had his own idea about what direction he should face.

Ezra fell in soft grass. He was fine.

I let Ezra take a photo of his sister. I think he was going for the avant-garde approach. He might be onto something. 

But he probably shouldn't count on photography to pay the bills. Much like his Mimi.

It's a challenge to get all the participants to look at the camera!
