Fort Concho Fun

Nancy and I went to Christmas at Fort Concho lat weekend with a couple of friends.

We visited the gingerbread house displays.

Nancy and I were smitten with "Olaf" the snowman made out of marshmallows.

This cute donkey seemed to like our attention.

By far, the best part of Fort Concho was meeting this beautiful lady.

Her name is Mozelle and she worked as a switchboard operator for many years. She gave us a demonstration of how she did her job so many years ago.

What fun it was to hear her talk about her job and how one fourth of July she didn't get one single call!

Pumpkins, Turkey and Gingerbread Men

Ezra was a fan of the carved pumpkin this Halloween, but not of the kids wearing scary masks.

Maybe next year he'll want to wear a costume.

For Thanksgiving I decorated the tables with brown ticking and burlap.

These two had a great turkey day!

Ezra decorated a gingerbread man for the first time.

Check out that concentration!

Pretty good for such a young guy!
