David graduated from Angelo State University last month.

Yes, I'm behind schedule.

We're all pretty proud of him.

I'm sure Ezra is especially proud!

Eating My Way Through Lubbock!

Went up to see Josh last weekend. We hit up a couple of restaurants we hadn't been to.

First up was Tom and Bingo's Bar-B-Que.

At first glance this place didn't look like it would amount to much, but boy was I wrong!

Once inside you see two rows of benches lining two walls. No tables, just benches. And people were sitting along them eating their sandwiches. No tables, just using their laps as tables. It was a little odd, but we persevered and walked to the back and ordered.

The man behind the counter (Tom or Bingo-we didn't ask) took our order and proceeded to chop up brisket and pile it in grilled buns.

We took our three sandwiches back to Josh's apartment to eat rather than sit on a bench trying to balance our sandwiches and BBQ sauce as people walked by us to order.

After one bite I knew we should have ordered more! These were very good! The secret to the yummy sandwiches was that Tom (or Bingo) dipped the grilled buns in meat juice before he filled them with brisket. So yummy.

Good job Tom (or Bingo)!

That night we went to West Crust Artisan Pizza. This place was really neat. We ordered the West Tuscan pizza.

The pizza was delicious!

West Crust was a great dining experience.

I guess I could eat a baloney sandwich at home and it would still be a great dining experience as long as it's with this guy.

I'm sure you're hungry now.

I recommend a trip to Lubbock to eat out with Josh.

Little Chair, Craft, Graduation and Corn on the Cob Random-ness

I 've been absent from my blog for a while now.

I've been taking lots of photos and staying busy, but haven't felt like writing.

Last month when David graduated, Meredith helped me finish a little wooden chair I got for Ezra.

She painted his name on the chair.

It turned out so cute! Thanks Meredith!

Speaking of Ezra, I took these cute photos of him playing with bubbles.

This photo is my favorite.

Such a sweet expression on his face.

A couple of weeks ago Nancy and Meredith were here for a wedding so Meredith and I did a craft.

She made this darling hanger.

We purchased some cute knobs and hangers and paint and pulled a old board off the fence.

I was there as the creative consultant.

Nancy was the supervisor and kept both of us organized.

And Meredith did the grunt work of sawing and painting and and screwing in the knobs and hooks.

It turned out so well.

I really love to craft with this precious girl!

David's graduation was lots of fun.

I decorated with a book page theme since David loves to read.

This was one of my favorite decorations.

And to finish off this random post about random things, here's a couple photos of Ezra having corn on the cob!

He loved it!

Stay tuned for more posts!
