Romper Time.

Alexandra bought Ezra a cute, green romper.

I think he looks very dapper.

Like a little British baby.

My own Prince Harry.

Ezra is a very mobile baby. It's difficult to get a photo of him sitting still.

The photo session involves two people. The photographer and a baby wrangler.

First the photographer gets ready, then the wrangler plunks the baby down and the photographer has 1.2 seconds to take the picture.

Because 1.2 seconds later the baby tries to get away.

Feels a bit like herding cats.

Weekend Fun in the Big D.

Josh and I drove to Dallas Friday night to take Brinkley back to his rightful owner, Alexandra. We left after work and arrived at about 10:30 pm. Alex spent the week in Chicago for some training so she had not arrived from the airport yet. Josh and I stood out front of her apartment for a little bit waiting for her to arrive.

Josh was giving Brinkley a big hug in this photo.

Two weary travelers.

The next morning we headed to La Duni's for some breakfast.

Yummy vaca blanca.

Josh got the migas.

Alex and I shared the huevos finos.

My mouth is watering looking at these photos.

Is it weird that I photograph my meals when we go out?

Next we went to Top Golf so Josh could have some fun.

Josh was not crazy about me taking his photos while we were there.

After all, golf is serious business.

I took a photo of this guy's pants.

Pretty wild, huh?

Alex spent a lot of time on her phone.

Cute girl.

Sunday we had a lazy morning and made blueberry pancakes before Josh and I hit the road.

Here is where I should insert a photo of the pancakes, but I failed to photograph those. #photographerfail.

But I did manage to take a few photos of Alex outside with her big puppy.

This is the courtyard where Brinkley takes his little walks each day.

I bought Alex some pretty flowers from the grocery store.

Do you like the margarita pitcher as a vase?

Isn't this chair with the cute grey pouf inviting?

I could spend the day reading in that corner of Alex's apartment.

Sigh.

By the time Josh and I got back to San Angelo we were pretty worn out.

But we were both excited to see little Ezra.

I mean how could you not miss that little face?

Trippin' the Light Fantastic.

Josh took Mercedes to the prom in San Antonio in May.

Look what a cute couple they make!

So sweet.

Muddy Buddies and Buddies.

Josh and David made Muddy Buddies a few weeks ago. If you've never had Muddy Buddies you must try them. Chocolate, peanut butter yumminess.

You melt some chocolate chips and butter and mix it with some peanut butter.

It's fun to do with your buddy.

Sometimes you have an audience while you make Muddy Buddies.

Little Buddy.

Then you put the chocolaty peanut butter goo and some Chex in a bag and shake it.

That's the fun part!

This is what they look like after you shake them.

Delicious!

Ezra + Strawberries = Bath Time.

Ezra loves strawberries.

So much that when he has them for lunch they end up in his hair and all over his sweet little face.

That's one sticky, little baby.

Birthday Fun in San Antonio.

I spent the weekend with my sister celebrating our birthdays.

We did a variety of fun things including shopping at a local thrift store.

I thought this sign was funny. Made me wonder where the best clothes were.

We then went to a place called Yeya's for some junk yard fun!

Saw this huge letter "A" that I thought would look cool in Alexandra's apartment.

Meredith found a lower case "a" too!

All the junk was laying in piles all over this place.

I saw a few things I wanted, but the prices were a bit high. I might have haggled with the owner to get a good price if it wasn't so darn hot.

Then we went down to the river to see some artsy shops.

Bikes for rent!

Next we went to see a sign Meredith painted on the side of a building.

This wasn't an act of vandalism.

She was asked to paint the sign.

I stuck my camera through the chain link fence to get a good photo and almost dropped my camera!

Not good.

When we got home Meredith hung some curtains for Nancy.

Such a sweet kiddo!

The next day Meredith and I got crafty with some wood shims.

Meredith is my crafting buddy! Although she did most of this craft all by herself. I mostly supervised.

Mary the crafting supervisor.

She stained the wood shims.

Messy work.

Then she glued the shims to a piece of fabric.

And ta-da!

A wood shim runner.

I love it!

San Antonio visits. So much fun.
