Fun, Food and Fake Beards.

December 26th we went down to the Riverwalk to see the lights and eat dinner.

I had a little trouble with the lighting so this photo is blurry.

It's not your eyes.

Just learning the photography stuff folks.

Two pretty girls.

A slightly goofy Auntie and and her nephew.

Happy faces!

Back to the house for MORE paper beard/glasses fun with Zane and Meredith.

And some smooching.

Young love.

Christmas 2012. Part Tres.

So it's been almost a month since Christmas and I've been having trouble uploading photos to the blog. Let me see if I can remember what we did.

We spent a lot of time holding this little guy.

But we also put out luminaries.

I always think of dad when we put out luminaries.

Dad had a lot of fun helping the grandchildren assemble luminaries.

Good memories.

The kids assembled fifty for Christmas Eve.

Then inside for more Ezra snuggling.

Spitting image of David.

Then we spent some time building a puzzle.

Or at least Nancy and the girls did.

World's most difficult puzzle.

Thank you very  much Nancy.

But these girls persevered.

We also played Santa bingo.

Lot's of fun.

Although in this photo every one is very serious.

After all. You might win a prize.

Once it was dark I took a million and a half photos with the luminaries.

Or maybe two million.

I lost count.

Love this one!

Family photo. Jack did not want to be in the photo.

After church we played with paper glasses and beards.

Even little Ezra got in on the act.

Nancy's Christmas trees were beautiful.

Tree numero uno.

Tree numero dos.

Such a pretty walkway.

We crammed a lot of activities in one day.

I believe I was ready for bed by 8 pm.

Scrabble Notes.

Josh and I played Scrabble one night before he headed back to Lubbock.

I got creative with the tiles and spelled out a couple of words that were on my mind that night.

Yep. Josh was headed back to Texas Tech and it's all I could think about.

The next day after I got home from work and Josh had already left for college I found this on the dining room table.

Josh left me a message.

Sniff. Sniff.

Gonna miss my sweet Red Raider.

Snow Day.

It snowed on January 3rd. Josh took some photos of the house.

And a photo of Windmill Drive.

Isn't San Angelo pretty covered in snow?

One More Christmas Post.

Christmas Day was fast and furious.

We opened a million and a half presents.

Nancy showed off her new slippers.

It was the year of the scarf for Nancy.

Ezra slept through it all.

Later we had a snowman wrapping contest.

And a gingerbread house decorating contest.

Then a root beer tasting event.

Josh loves root beer!

Followed by a Mexican Train dominoes contest.

Alexandra contemplating her next move.

Mercedes joined us for the competition.

Meredith doesn't look very happy.

Sometimes it's hard to lose.

Followed by more paper beard/glasses fun!

Handsome young man.

The next morning Ezra and his great Auntie had a wonderful conversation.

She's so funny!

What a wonderful Christmas 2012.

Looking forward to 2013.

p.s. I just realized I missed the entire River Walk experience. That will truly be the final Christmas 2012 post.

I promise.

Stay tuned for Christ 2012 part four.
